zehnders splash village

Over the weekend my parents took our family and my brother's family to Zehnders Splash Village, everyone had so much FUN! Sam was the only kid that went down the big covered water slides. Sienna took one look and refused to even go near them, she did go down two other slides which made me proud! Cameron also went down the same slides as Sienna and would have probably gone down the big one if he was older. In the evening my parents watched all 5 kids while Brad, Robin, Jason and I went down to the water park to act like kids again. We even got into a duck race. Everyone got a numbered duck and on the count of three tossed them into the lazy river, who's ever duck finished first won. GUESS WHAT?? Yep Robin's duck won, she got a large pizza. We all acted like she just one the lotto! Thanks to my parents for a wonderful weekend!

Kids School Christmas Play/Party

On Friday December 18th the kids daycare put on a Christmas play for us, it was SUPER CUTE! Cameron's class were all dressed as elf's while they sang and danced around. Of course if you know Cameron he was the center of attention breaking it down in the middle of the stage. Sienna's class were all dressed different (some trees, some presents and of course Santa and Mrs. Claus). Sienna was so proud that she was Mrs. Claus, she did very good dancing and singing. After they all performed they sat in a circle waiting for Santa. First I want to say they all sat in a circle except for Cameron who sat in the middle of everyone. Then when santa arriving ringing a bell all the kids ran to give him a big hug, except for Cameron who stole Santa's bells and ran around ringing them. Both of the kids loved sitting on Santa's lap and getting a present from him.

SO MUCH TO TELL

I know it has been a long time since I have posted and have so much to tell! First off the kids LOVED Halloween, Sienna was Dorothy, Cameron the Scarecrow, Daddy was Tinman, Dozer was the Lion and I was the wicked witch! So the BIG news is... WE ARE MOVING!! We did not sell our house in Grand Blanc but we are renting it, we have to be out this Saturday 11-14-09 by noon! We are moving in with  my parents for a few months to save some money and start looking for a new house, we are hoping to find a home in the South Lyon area. SUPER EXCITED but also know it is going to be a challenge living with my parents for the next few months but it will be all worth it in the end!

Cute Saying:
"Mom why are you and Cameron sharing germs?" From Sienna because I let Cameron drink out of my cup.
"Mom I learning about the body, did you know we have a heart that pumps blood." Another quote from Sienna, she is learning so much in pre-school.

I would give a quote from Cameron but it would mostly be NO NO NO NO NO NO NO, yep I think it is his favorite word. He is for sure speaking a lot more lately, mostly repeating.

 Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Cider Mill and more!

On Sunday September 27th we went to Spicers Orchard with The Stone family! The kids had so much fun eating donuts, running around on the all the play toys and they enjoyed the train ride through the Orchard. My dad decided to join us at the cider mill then head back to our house to fix our kitchen light since Jason has been out of town. Over a month ago Jason installed a new kitchen light and last week it decided to come crashing down and almost hitting me. To our surprise nothing broke except a plastic part that I was able to order from Home Depot.

Cameron's favorite word right now is NO! He is such a boy, loves to climb, make car noises, drive his toy car and play with balls. BUT he also LOVES his teddy bears!!! Lately he has been a pistol, fighting with his sister (but also give her lots of loves), sitting on her and jumping, throwing a fit on the floor when he doesn't get his way, he bit me last week and hits sometimes and thinks it is funny. I asked daycare and they said he is not aggressive with any kids but when he wants something another kid is playing with he just goes and sits on their lap until they move. We have our work cut out for us!

Sienna's cute saying "Cameron it's all about you not about me" I think she got it a little turned around. We are SO PROUD that Sienna has gone over two weeks without sucking her thumb!! At her last dentist appointment her dentist said if she does not stop soon in the next year she will have to get a retainer. As of this month Sienna is officially a pre-schooler, she loves school but told me last week that she doesn't know if she wants to go to kindergarten because its going to be harder then pre-school. What she has learned in the last 2 weeks: Her 5 senses, how to be polite and what is teasing, and she is also learning Spanish!!

Labor Day weekend 2009

WOW it has been over 2 months since I have posted anything, better late then never!

Our Labor Day tradition - Aloha State Park
We arrived Thursday and stayed until Tuesday. On Friday we always do some grocery shopping and relax at the campground, our site was right on the water. Saturday we always go to Key Hole Bar for Michigan first Football game of the year! Before the game we head over the bridge to St. Ignace for their annual craft shows along the water. On Sunday we usually head to Mackinaw Island but this year we decided to kick back and relax a little. Monday we did our usual Bridge walk and shopping.

Sienna Turns FOUR!

Sienna and Jaidyn putting lip gloss on each other

WOW I can't believe my baby girl turned 4 years old on July 10th, she is growing up so fast but says she will always be my baby girl!

We celebrated her birthday at Grandma and Grandpa Edwards house on the lake. Sienna was so excited for her party, mostly for the presents. She dressed up as Princess Snow White for her party. Lainey, Raigan and Danika also dressed up as pretty princesses. Also at her party were the boys: Sam, Caleb, Ty, Sean, Brendan, Nate and Jake, cute little Makayla, Granparents and a bunch of adults. The kids swam in the lake, jumped in the jump house, ate cake and ice cream, watched Sienna open presents, and broke open a pinata. SIENNA HAD SO MUCH FUN!!! To top off the night it was July 4th so Portage Lake was having their annual fireworks, we filled up my parents boat and enjoyed Sienna's Grandpa Edwards favorite day of the year. Cameron of course slept through the fireworks and Sienna fell asleep half way through.

The day before Sienna's birthday I picked her up from school with what we thought was pink eye. We were all disappointed thinking she was going to miss taking all the cupcakes I bought to school and having her friend Jaidyn over. After Jason took her to the doctor we found out she has allergies, no pink eye thank goodness. Also at the doctor they did her 4 year check up, she is 42.25" tall and weighs 42.3 lbs.  Sienna got to go back to school and enjoy her birthday with all of her school friends. The best treat of all for her was having Jaidyn over. The girls has so much fun dancing to Hannah Montana, dressing up like princesses, putting lip gloss on each other, wrestling and so much more, the girls had a BLAST together!

Sienna's famous quote
"You get what you get and you don't throw a fit"

Favorite colors: Pink and Purple

Favorite toys: Dress up, barbies, ponies, wizard of oz dolls, Tag books

Favorite music: Hannah Montana

Other likes: cut with scissors, put money in her piggy bank, books to read to her brother, play in her jump house, Rainbow pony is her favorite pony, swimming and loves her gymnastics class.

Sienna's Dance Recital

Sienna did such a great job at her dance recital! They sang songs, did a tap dance and a ballet dance, IT WAS SO CUTE!! Check out some of her pictures, I will plan to upload a video soon plus more pictures from her actual recital. The first three pictures are from the other day, she wanted to take pictures with her outfit on, she had me put tons of stuff in her hair to make it look pretty. The last picture is what the back of her hair looked the night of recital.

Memorial Day Weekend 2009

WOW what a weekend, Saturday we spent the afternoon at the Laesch's house. We had such a wonderful time catching up and watching the kids play. Later Saturday evening we headed over to my parents house, we had dinner on the boat and relaxed until bedtime. Sunday morning my parents took the kids to church while I made breakfast for everyone. Later on Sunday my brothers family and other relative came over for a BBQ. It started out as a nice day until Cameron started running a temp, Jason and I ended up taking him urgent care. 10 days prior he was diagnosed with a duo ear infection and the urgent care confirmed he still had a duo ear infection so he prescribed us a stronger antibiotic for 10 more days. On Monday at home Cameron was not doing good at all, temp over 102, slept all day, wouldn't eat and looked awful! Tuesday Jason took him to the doctor and they said his ears looked good, WHAT!! His doc thinks he has some virus and wants us to continue with the antibiotic prescribed but only two times a day instead of three. As of Thursday he is doing much better but I think his medication make him a little out of it plus it gave him MAJOR diarrhea. We are going to wait this out a few more days and if he isn't 100% soon I will be calling the doc again to make sure its not more then just a virus. Also the doc took his measurements and can you believe he grew almost an inch in 2 three weeks from 29.57" to 30.5", I think someone was off but WHO??

Cameron Turned ONE!

On Saturday May 2nd we had Cameron's first Birthday Party at our house, lots of family and friends came to help us celebrate. We had a WONDERFUL time and it was nice spending time with everyone. On his actual birthday May 5th he unfortunately had his one year doctor appointment and got three shots! He is doing great weighing in at 21.13 lbs (50 percentile and up 1 lb. from his 9 month appointment) Height is 29.75 (75 percentile and up 1" from his 9 month appointment) and his head was 47 cm. Thank you to everyone for helping us make Cameron's first birthday so wonderful!

Also if anyone is curious where his stats compare to Sienna's here it is:
At one year Sienna was a little over 24 lbs and her height was 30.5" and head was 47.5 cm.

Saturday evening they had a fish fry, which I loved and invited Grandpa Dailey, Aunt Sue and the Snyder Family including Starr. The Dailey and Snyder kids had fun dancing, playing in the sand box, riding the jeep and eating dessert!! Sunday morning we relaxed and headed home!

On Friday April 10th my mom and I took the kids to get professional pictures taken. For the most part they did great, a little crazy hair but what is new! I can't believe Cameron is going to be 1 so soon, May 5th!! Cameron is not walking yet but he can stand up on his own not holding onto anything, so soon he will be walking!!

EASTER 2009

What a busy weekend, On Friday we had birthday pictures taken at Portrait Innovations then headed back to my parents house where Sienna and Cameron played with cousins Sam and Caleb. The three of us stayed the night at my parents house while Jason and a bunch of other guys took a limo to the Piston's game and crashed back at our house. On Saturday we headed to Domino's Farm where we visited with the Easter Bunny, petting farm and participated in a HUGE out of CONTROL Easter Egg Hunt! After the hunt we went out to lunch with Robin and Caleb then headed home for a bit of relaxation and Easter egg decorating. On Sunday Sienna woke up at 7am to see if the Easter Bunny came to her house. Of course the bunny came and brought both kids easter baskets. After a fun filled morning we headed to my parents house where they hid over 40 Easter eggs outside for all 4 grandchildren, what a blast! We had a wonderful dinner with my family, A.Diane, U. Jerry and cousin Jeff. After dinner the kids played with bubble guns and went fishing. What a wonderful weekend!!
